I'm a self taught data scientist and I transitioned from a Non-CS career into the field of DS and AI. I currently develop at a fast paced startup and have gotten a chance to be on the client interface of projects too. I do not essentially believe in strict roadmaps and use of multiple technologies, my mantra is to prioritize quality of understanding over quantity of tools and technologies.
