With 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity research and development, I am a Principal Cybersecurity/ML Researcher at Oracle, where I create machine learning solutions to protect Oracle Cloud Infrastructure from cyber threats. I have a Ph.D. in Computer and Information Systems Security from The University of Texas at San Antonio, and I hold multiple certifications and patents in the field of cybersecurity. In my current role, I am involved in designing and building the engineering infrastructure and machine learning models for anomaly detection. I have extensive experience in reverse engineering the latest malware threats and writing internal tools for malware detection. I have also been a teaching staff at Harvard University since 2022, where I share my knowledge and passion for cybersecurity and machine learning with students and peers. I am motivated by the challenge of solving complex and novel problems in cybersecurity, especially when AI and ML technologies can help.
