As a Software Engineer with a Master's in Computer Science from Paderborn University, I bring a blend of strong software engineering skills and applied machine learning experience. I have worked across the full stack developing robust backend systems with Python/Flask/FastAPI and dynamic frontends using React and Angular while also building and deploying ML models to solve real-world problems. Currently, I’m working at abaut GmbH, where we leverage IoT and machine learning to transform the mining and construction industries through real-time data insights. I contribute to backend and API development, data handling with Elasticsearch, and frontend work using Angular. Previously, I worked on research-backed software solutions at the Heinz Nixdorf Institute, where my master’s thesis focused on enhancing code comprehension in Jupyter Notebooks using NLP and classification models. I also gained hands-on development experience as a Student Research Assistant at the Data Science Group (DICE), and as a Software Developer at dSPACE, where I developed and tested web applications for vehicle simulation platforms.
