About me
Dr. Monica Singh is a Consultant Paediatrician with over a decade of clinical experience, committed to re-anchoring child healthcare in India around clarity, compassion, and clinical restraint. Guided by a “less is more” philosophy, her work focuses on delivering care that is evidence-based, proportionate, and deeply respectful of a child’s natural capacity to grow and heal.
Her clinical journey spans leading institutions including Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and Mata Chanan Devi Hospital, where she has worked extensively across NICU, PICU, and high-volume outpatient settings. These experiences have given her a grounded understanding of both critical paediatric care and the everyday anxieties parents face while navigating their child’s health.
Dr. Singh is the founder of MotherYourChild (MYC)—an initiative built on a simple but powerful idea: that timely guidance, clear communication, and continuity of care can prevent panic, over-medicalisation, and unnecessary hospital visits. MYC is envisioned as India’s first 24/7 urgent child-health support system designed to bring calm, informed decision-making back into homes.
Her approach to pediatrics extends beyond treating illness alone. She emphasizes:
- Judicious Clinical Care through thoughtful use of diagnostics and medicines, ensuring interventions are necessary, evidence-based, and in the child’s best long-term interest.
- Whole-Child Perspective by integrating physical health with emotional, developmental, and behavioural well-being in every care plan.
- Parent Empowerment by translating medical knowledge into clear, practical guidance so families feel confident, informed, and supported.
Recognized as 'Best Senior Resident' in West Delhi government hospitals, Dr. Singh also remains actively engaged in education and public health communication. Through digital platforms, she reaches a growing community of parents, simplifying complex pediatric topics and advocating for rational, mindful healthcare.
Her academic work includes research on newborn screening for congenital heart disease using pulse oximetry, reflecting her continued commitment to preventive and early-intervention pediatrics.
At the core of Dr. Monica Singh’s work is a belief that good pediatric care is not about doing more—it is about doing what truly matters, at the right time, for the right reasons.
