CAREER | Career Positioning & Resume Review with Monica Kothari

Your resume shouldn’t just describe where you’ve been. It should make a clear case for why you are a strong fit for where you want to go next.

In this 1:1 session, we’ll start with your target role or JD and work backwards to understand what the role is really looking for. We’ll then map your experience, achievements and career stories against those requirements to identify what strengthens your positioning, what is getting lost, and what needs to change.

We’ll focus on:

• Understanding the capabilities and expectations behind your target role

• Mapping your experience, achievements and leadership stories to the JD

• Identifying the strongest evidence in your resume for the role you want

• Strengthening your professional narrative, impact and differentiation

• Making your leadership, technical, business and transformation contributions visible

• Identifying gaps, inconsistencies or areas where your experience needs stronger evidence

• Improving the structure, clarity and relevance of your resume based on your target direction

You’ll leave with a clearer career positioning, a JD-aligned view of your strongest stories and specific priorities for strengthening your resume rather than simply a list of formatting or wording changes.

Before the session: Please share your current resume and, ideally, the JD or role you’re targeting. If you’re exploring multiple roles, share 1–2 representative JDs so we can identify the common positioning across them.
