I have been there, done that, learnt a lot and am happy to guide you!
Navigating a successful career as a woman comes with its own unique set of challenges, and my journey has not been any way, but it has made me a a strong leader and holistic human being.
"I grew up in a small township in Rajasthan—no mentors, no shortcuts, just a lot of scraped knees and bruised elbows, and the stark reality that being born a girl was a fight for life itself, where many never made it out of the womb. Fast forward a couple of decades, and I’ve led global teams at Amazon and Yahoo, founded Dare2Express to empower women through art and expression, and become a voice for gender diversity in tech and society.
When I’m not knee-deep in code or strategy, you’ll find me on stage as a public speaker, sharing my journey or tech insights at conferences around the world. I’ve served on committees for major conferences, making sure the voices of women are heard loud and clear.
But that’s not all. I’m a poet, a painter, a traveler, and an explorer, always on the lookout for the next adventure that will fuel my creativity and passion. I’m also writing a book that takes a no-nonsense look at women in tech, and inspires every women to keep marching forward. I’m also deeply involved in women’s mentorship groups like Google’s Women Techmakers, AMAZEWIT, Aspire for Her, where I work to lift others as I climb.
I’ve built my career on being strong, confident, and decisive—qualities that have guided me through countless challenges of role changes, learning new domains/tech, and growing everyone’s career, while being compassionate yet fighting the challenges in every situation."
In this session, we’ll focus on the specific hurdles you may be facing as a woman in the workplace and develop strategies to overcome them. Whether you're seeking leadership, transitioning roles, or simply need guidance on career growth, I’m here to support you in achieving your goals with confidence.
