Back in college, I used to wonder why my resume never made it past the first round. I’d apply to roles, wait, and then… nothing. Over time, I realized the problem wasn’t the lack of effort — it was how I was presenting it. A resume isn’t just a piece of paper; it’s the first filter. And getting that part right made all the difference. Fast forward to now — I’m working as a Research Associate in the TMT (Technology, Media & Telecommunications) practice at BCG, where I work on sectors like IT services, Gen AI, and media & entertainment. Before this, I was with TresVista, handling financial reporting for a US-based private equity client — preparing quarterly loan, cash flow, and working capital statements, and also helping make internal processes like email tracking and mail box management more efficient. I graduated from Christ University in 2024 with a BBA in Finance. Finance degree on paper, but most of the real learning happened outside textbooks. 😉 This session is for anyone who’s been where I was — trying hard, but stuck at that first step.
