The current burning issue over the glove is energy. Therefore, I worked on/and am willing to work on storing energy using the fundamental concepts of electrochemistry and crystallography. I worked on Na-ion batteries which are an alternative to Li-ion batteries. Because Na-metal is high in abundance and low in cost which is present in demand. Now, I am willing to work on K-ion batteries, the electrochemical potentials of K are close to that of Li (0.1 V higher (magnitude) in the case of Li in comparison to K). Hence, higher energy density; however, layered oxide materials are not usually employed because of the higher size of K that led to the multiple phase transitions during charge/discharge. Therefore, I will work on an alternative to that.
