I would like to share my experience starting from intermediate college. I got science stream easily because of my good grades. In intermediate college I used to be involved in both sports as well as studies. I was in the basketball team & cricket team. there I learned about leadership skills. our cricket team won second prize for two consecutive years in a district level tournament & also I usually scored good percentages in both years of the intermediate college. My rank in the intermediate college was always in the top five. Now talking about my experience in the Delhi Technological University was extremely good. Fortunately, I got an opportunity to do a 4-week of internship & training program at National Thermal Power Corporation – Dadri (June-July,2021). National Capital Power Station (NCPS) Or NTPC Dadri, is the power project to meet the power demand of the National Capital Region (India). It has a huge coal-fired thermal power plant and a gas-fired plant and has a small township located in Uttar Pradesh, India for its employees. Within these 4 weeks, I learned a lot of knowledge related to working, controlling & maintenance of a coal-based power plant. A thermal power station is a power station in which heat energy is converted to electricity. Typically, fuel is used to boil water in a large pressure vessel to produce high-pressure steam, which drives a steam turbine connected to an electrical generator. The low-pressure exhaust from the turbine passes through a steam condenser and is recycled to where it was heated. Fortunately, I got the prestigious opportunity to get a training program (4-weeks) at the Delhi metro rail corporation, Delhi. Right now, I am getting training at the Shastri park metro depo. METRO is like a dream come true for Delhi, a revolutionary change in city transport. Delhi needs a metro system in the first place and it would change things for the better not only for people who would be using it and but for the people living in Delhi by reducing congestion, air pollution, noise pollution, and accidents. It would be impossible for such a big population of citizens to move to their destination without a metro. According to most of the citizens, the metro is the best mode of travel. I got internship training in some of the domains such as : Bogie, suspension & wheels Aircon Passenger Saloon Door Pneumatic and Brake System
