As an Applied Scientist at the AWS Generative AI Innovation Center, I work on projects that solve impactful real-world problems by advancing generative AI, LLM, and Multimodal Learning research. I collaborate with other scientists and engineers to develop novel solutions leveraging AWS and Foundational Models. I completed my Ph.D. at the University of Virginia in June 2023, where I focused on LLM, Multimodal ML (Visual-Language Models and Multimodal LLM), Personalization, Multilingual NLP, Multitask Learning, Learning from Knowledge Graph, and Generative A. My research has been published in prestigious venues such as NeurIPS, AISTATS, AAAI, WACV, IEEE Transaction on Multimedia, ACM Transaction on HRI, UbiComp, IEEE RA-L, ICRA, and IROS. I also received many research grants, fellowships, and awards in competitive programming contests and hackathons. I am passionate about writing code, participating in hackathons and contests, and learning new skills and technologies. I enjoy fishing, traveling, and exploring new places, cultures, and food during my free time. I am motivated by the opportunity to apply my knowledge and skills to create innovative and impactful solutions that benefit society and humanity.
