Bonjour tout le monde • Hola amig@s • 大家好 I was born and raised in Spain to immigrant Chinese parents and grandparents. I’m a former international student and came to Canada alone at the age of 15. I’m fluent in 4 languages: English, French, Chinese Mandarin and Spanish. I've lived in 3 different continents and have had the privilege of living and working with people from over 100+ nationalities over the years. I have over 10+ years experience in the corporate world across different industries, such as international education, human resources consulting, IT/tech as well as in the non-profit sector. I realized that the corporate world wasn't a good fit for me in the long-term and needed to create my own path. I was a high performer, but I could never bring myself 100% to work. I wasn't being myself, bringing only 50% of my identity. Everyone has the right to be authentically themselves and I decided to empower others to do the same. That's why I started a side hustle while working full-time, BoXia. Our team helps you discover your natural talents and strengths, so that you're going to set up for success in your professional and/or entrepreneurship journey. We also create and develop comic books and films to raise awareness of the Canadian heritage and culture. People often describe me as a diversity champion and global citizen. I truly understand how important it is to build meaningful collaborative relationships with diverse communities through allyship.
