A long, long time ago, when the cloud meant solely a fluffy shape in the sky, as a teenager I already knew computers would radically change our worlds. Heck, internet did not even exist yet. Yes indeed, you're at a profile of a, well, experienced gentleman in both IT and life. I firmly believe tech is a strong driver for change, and exactly therefore will always need a human touch. Sure, self learning robots will outsmart us. But guess what? Only to make every single one of us enjoy a higher quality of life. Need proof? Pay attention when traffic lights black out and public servants take over. Or when your dish washer -only a specific description for just another type of robot- breaks down. By all means, let robots write reports for me and create visual story-telling presentation deck for me so I can focus on the delivery of added value. Let robots do our Triple D jobs: Dull, Dirty or Dangerous jobs. And I get to spend more quality time with my family, write and read sci-fi stories and start up the next (charity) project. Now if you'd ask me, this super productivity is powered by software.
