About me

A United Nations-recognised changemaker, Mihir is a sophomore at Ashoka University from Hyderabad, India, studying Psychology and Biology with a knack for Public Health and Policy. He most recently interned at the Koita Centre for Digital Health (KCDH-A). In the past, Mihir has worked as a research intern at the Centre of Health Psychology, University of Hyderabad, and as Campus Director for the 2024 UNAI Millennium Fellowship at Ashoka University. He won the 2023 UNHCR Advocacy Award winner as a Young Champion for Refugees at UNHCR, a one-of-a-kind accolade. He actively attends highly selective Policy workshops such as Harvard’s 2024 Undergraduate International Relations Scholars Program (HUIRSP) among others. He enjoys reading and writing academic pieces on topics in Neuroscience and Applied Biology. Mihir has honed his public speaking and team leadership skills from a young age as is demonstrated in his work experience. He also regularly finds time for hobbies such as Carnatic music and western A Capella, calligraphy, and bullet journaling in personal and professional capacities.
