In the leadership and corporate world, I feel that storytelling has a pivotal role to play in bringing out the best out of what each individual seeks to express - something they might already possess but may not necessarily be able to showcase in the most effective way. Especially when it comes to storytelling through presentations, I believe that they are an interesting blend of report making and film making. There is a need to understand this art since it is especially relevant in the corporate space to engage the audience while also staying true to the logical aspects of the content. Presentations and communication that is done with storytelling at their core, blend both these extremes by acting as a seamless bridge and make it easier for individuals to express themselves in an interview or even after getting the job. So far, I have been able to teach annually for the batches of The Vedica Scholars Programme for Women, Indian School of Public Policy, Badruka School of Management, Naropa Fellowship, Anant Fellowship, and JK Lakshmipat University, apart from also taking one-time workshops at my then workplaces including SoulTree, Guru Films Private Limited, and Insight India Network.
