Kira & Video Essay - Story Selection with Meghana Kalla

Used by IESE, INSEAD, HEC and others: a recorded answer with 30–60 seconds of prep and no retakes. Strong candidates lose ground here because they reach for their essay material, which is too long and too layered to land in a minute.

Send beforehand: your CV and target schools.

On the call: we go through the question types these schools actually ask — behavioural, motivational, opinion — and map which of your experiences fits each. You leave with a bank of 8–10 stories you can reach for under time pressure, each cut down to something you can tell in 60 seconds.

After: written notes with the story bank and the angle for each.

This is about what to say, not delivery coaching. I did this round last cycle and can tell you which stories worked.
