Hello! First of all, thanks for checking in! Being a finance major, I was in my Securities and portfolio management class when I discovered that technical analysis in finance is mostly dependent on Time Series Forecasting. I was curious to know how it happens in the back-end and how the bullish or bearish trends in stocks are predicted so I began to research about it. This was my first encounter with data science and I was intrigued by how much it is used in day-to-day life, from the positioning of eggs & bread in the Supermarket (Association problem ) to getting traffic predictions while commuting - It had it all! I started learning it and digging deep into it. I believe that learning data science is a continuous process and one can never say he's done. Did you know? There are nearly as many pieces of digital information as there are stars in the universe. How will you be able to make sense out of so much digital information as an organization? considering that it comes in different and rather confusing forms? That is what I can help you with! I have 3 years of hands-on experience in SQL, Tableau, Power Bi, Python, and R. In python, I have developed multiple projects using NumPy, pandas, matplotlib, seaborn, SciPy, and sklearn libraries. I solve complex business problems by building models using machine learning algorithms like Linear regression, Logistic regression, Decision tree, Random Forest, Knn, Naive Bayes, Gradient, Adaboost, and XG boost, Support Vector machines. I use ensemble learning when I have to train multiple models using the same learning algorithm. When I have to deal with data that has no labels, I use Unsupervised Learning. I am yet to explore more than what I already know and hence I keep doing projects for the same.
