What are people saying

I love that May was able to empathize but also be objective in my consultation with her. She has the balance of being approachable, friendly, but also professional.

The chat with Ms. May was well spent, as she is a subject matter expert, especially in giving other points of view in tackling behavioral, leadership, and technical questions. She has provided other tips on how to understand one’s professional experience and be able to relate and bring out the better of you in answering them. In addition, she has suggested other ways of having that edge in one’s job hunt. Lastly my key take aways from our session were: * Make use of your connections wisely * List questions you found difficulty answering and follow the STAR method in elaborating when asked again * Be authentic by siting achievements where impact was felt, no matter how simple and small the process was * Rejection is part of the process, keep on trying, and never give up. More power to this initiative of your. Thank you once again.

The conversation with Ms. May was like a breath of fresh air. It was light yet meaningful, where one can just express openly while Ms. May willingly shares her time and insights. That alone is a testament of her commitment and advocacy which is very admirable at the same time assuring that days can indeed be brighter with people like her understanding and supporting the moms returning to work.

Thank you May for a very insightful and refreshing talk. I felt light and optimistic with how you answered my what ifs. And appreciate as well that you understand my point of view. Giving options to explore and more :) Grateful that I was able to talk to someone outside my circle and gave me another set of perspective. :)
