Hi, I'm Rushabh. I'm a backend engineer with around three years of experience, and I'm currently an SDE 3 at Walmart Global Tech in angalore. My core stack is Java and Spring Boot, and most of my work has been on distributed, event-driven systems. I started my career at Rupeek, a fintech company, where I spent two years on payment systems. The piece I'm proudest of there is the payment ledger. I built it on SQS and MongoDB, with idempotent consumers and a dead-letter queue, so a payment was never processed twice and failed events were never lost. After that I spent a year at Livspace, working in Python, Django and Node. There I led a production MySQL migration on a 340 GB table with over 500 million rows, spread across 25 hash partitions. We did it with minimal downtime using pt-osc and a journal-based sync for the cutover. It taught me a lot about how things fail in production, like dump tools silently dropping triggers. Outside work, I like building side projects. Recently I built an AI code review agent in Spring Boot that reviews diffs with an LLM. I enjoy problems where correctness and scale both matter, and that's the kind of work I'm looking for next."
