Hello, you! I'm Manzer, a relentless advocate for education accessibility and empowerment. Born and raised in Ambikapur, a small town in Chhattisgarh with limited educational prospects, let me tell you, the journey hasn't been easy. Financial in-access and a lack of mentorship opportunities made every step a challenge. I've walked the path from Computer Science engineering to development sector, fueled by a passion for change. My story began with a Master's in Social Work from TISS Mumbai, where I witnessed firsthand the reality of students unable to afford education. This experience birthed Bridge (www.bridge-edu.in), my brainchild initiative dedicated to leveling the playing field for marginalized communities, offering scholarships and opportunities that were once out of reach. But my journey didn't stop there. Thanks to the Chevening Scholarship, I embarked on a transformative journey at Oxford University, earning a Master's in Evidence-based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation. Now, I stand as a testament to the power of education to break barriers and transform lives when access is made easy. With six years of diverse experience spanning organizations like J-PAL, Department of Social Policy & Intervention, University of Oxford, ImpactDash, NABARD Consultancy Services, Government of New Delhi and more, I've become not just a professional, but a catalyst for systemic change. Alongside Bridge, I co-founded Project EduAccess (www.projecteduaccess.com), providing free mentorship to marginalized learners and opening doors to a brighter future. Through Topmate, I'm on a dual mission: - To offer guidance and support to those seeking career advancement, studying abroad opportunities, interview preparation, Chevening Scholarships, social work at TISS, public policy jobs, and beyond. - To ensure that every interaction serves a greater purpose, 100% of the proceeds generated from these mentorship sessions are dedicated to sustaining Bridge.
