Mock interview

Mock interview

Fail here instead of in the real one.

This is a proper mock interview — same pressure, same format, same awkward silences. I've been on both sides of the table: three years interviewing at Standard Chartered Bank, and plenty of rounds sat as the nervous candidate.

Pick your round:

  1. DSA / problem solving — a real problem, live coding, and me watching how you think, not just whether you land the answer.
  2. Java & Spring Boot deep-dive — the questions backend interviewers actually ask: collections, concurrency, Spring internals, REST design, transactions, caching.
  3. System design — for SDE-1 and SDE-2 level. We'll design something real and I'll push on your trade-offs the way an interviewer will.
  4. HR / behavioural — "tell me about yourself," gaps, why you're switching, salary questions. The round most people underestimate and lose.

How it works:

  1. Tell me the role and company type when you book, and I'll pitch the round at the right level.
  2. We run the interview properly — no hints, no rescuing you. That's the point.
  3. Then we break character and I tell you the truth: what worked, what an interviewer would have flagged, and the two or three things that would move you up a level.
  4. You get written feedback afterwards so you can actually act on it.
