When I started yoga with Manica six months ago, I honestly thought I wouldn’t be able to do it for more than 30 minutes. I used to find yoga taxing, hard to stay focused, and honestly — a little boring. I even told her, “Can we keep the class short?” She said, “Let’s try one hour and see how you feel.” And trust me, six months later, that one hour has become the best part of my day.
I don’t know how she does it, but Manika makes every class feel different. I get bored easily — I had told her that upfront — and she actually kept that in mind. No two sessions ever feel the same. It’s peaceful, not overwhelming, and still pushes you in the right way.
I’ve also started seeing such a big improvement in my asanas — my body feels more flexible, lighter, and people around me are even noticing it. I feel stronger, and I know I’m losing fat the right way. That feeling of progress is honestly so motivating.
I’ve tried yoga before. I once joined a “beginner” class where they made me do 11 Surya Namaskars on day one. I had never done yoga in my life — it didn’t feel right at all. But with manica, it felt personal. Safe. Gradual. And honestly, fun.
She notices every single move. She doesn’t let you slide by doing things half-heartedly, but she’s never pushy. One-to-one experience with manica has been amazing.
She’s someone I can talk to without feeling judged — even when I tell her I ate junk all weekend. She’s balanced, calm, and creates a space where you feel like you’re improving, without the pressure to be perfect.
I’m honestly just grateful to be learning from her.
Really liked her approach towards yoga. I am a beginner but she guided me towards alignment and gave me variations that suited my body. I could, for a change, practice with ease
