Having started my career as an AI/ML researcher (way before it was cool), I continue to seek technology solutions to real-world problems, especially those with social impact. With a unique combination of corporate & entrepreneurial experience - skills in product development, engineering, product management, strategic sales and business development - I help in creating access to new markets, strong connect at the C-Level, and to develop long-term business partnerships. I currently lead the Technology & Sustainability GTM in NA for TCS - leveraging strengths in mobile, telecom, IT to help in the digital transformation of companies for a sustainable future. I also advise early stage social impact startups and co-founded strides.ai a platform for diverse leaders to realize their potential and for enterprises to discover talent. Prior to this, reporting to TCS CEO, I led TCS's engagement into Tata group – via new services for business simplification & digital transformation. These include a Big Data Customer insight program, and adoption of Digital technologies. I have also held senior positions at Nortel in Product Management, Engineering and Sales across the globe and helped drive Nortel's growth in LatAm & Asia. In the early 90s, I pioneered self-managed teams. My research in Reverse Engineering, Inverse resolution and Induction led to the introduction of Adaptive learning algorithms in Machine Learning in 1991. I have been a guest speaker for EMBA programs at Cornell University, Imperial College of London, Indian Institute of Management, and Queens University in Canada. I co-founded BrillianMinds.in, a charitable foundation for chronic mental health care & awareness. I am known for my positive attitude, people skills, and sense of humor. I love trail hiking, watching sports, gardening, mixing music/DJ'ing, and writing. I have lived in 5 countries, 4 continents, and travelled to 54 countries, and suffer from an unusually high dose of FOMO.
