I head the Services R&D unit in Core Networks' Global Services organization. We build custom software for CSPs' core. This includes custom implementation of 3GPP standards, SW for core network provisioning, config management, subscriber data migration, plugins for integrating 3rd party products with Nokia's core, O&M for core, network operations automation et al. My team is globally distributed with presence across multiple cities in India, China, Portugal, Turkey and US. Prior to this role, I led the Telco Cloud delivery unit within Nokia Software - core services - global SI delivery (GSID) organisation. Team was spread across 3 countries in Europe and Asia. We delivered telco cloud services incl. NFVI design & integration, cloud benchmarking, core VNFs and CNFs onboarding and MANO automation services, built and ran the cloud collaboration hubs - aka cloud labs - at 2 sites offering cloud capacity for PoCs/ demos and projects. In my first role at Nokia, had started the end-to-end core solution test & automation practice in GSID. Built a team of 80+ systems integration specialists and project/program managers spread across 3 delivery centers in India and Europe, from the ground up. Delivered e2e solutions testing and automation services to CSPs in cooperation with regional delivery teams. Solutions under test were multi-vendor, multi-technology mobile core networks spanning Data Center / Telco Cloud, VoLTE, VoWiFi, Circuit Switched Voice, SDM, SDL, OSS et al. I am tech-savvy, love leading global teams and solving complex business problems. I work seamlessly with stakeholders across the organisation in getting things done. Strongly believe in new ways of working and carry a boundary-less mindset. I focus on developing reusable assets, knowledge and best practices sharing, collaborative working and on keeping teams future-ready. In my earlier jobs at Aricent and Wipro, have held significant positions in product engineering, business development/ account management and in technology practice development. In my product engineering roles, have led complex SW development projects for a variety of telecom, networking products and embedded platforms from global customers, under aggressive timelines and challenging business models. In BD roles, have achieved annual revenues up to 15M$ and growth rate of 30%+. Have incubated, developed PoCs and won business on adjacencies such as SDN/NFV and WLAN. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from NIT, Trichy, a premier engineering institute in India.
