But my journey is nowhere near smooth. 1st career switch: Tech consulting -> MBA. 2nd career switch: MBA -> Data Science ...3rd career switch: TBD I'm a low-income first-generation immigrant who came to the US with 3 merit-based full-ride scholarships at the top 50 US schools. I self-taught myself all the standard tests while prepping for applications. I ended up with The Ohio State University, thinking I would pursue management consulting. But out of a sudden, I fell in love with data in my second year. So as you can guess... I taught myself Data Science. I got full-time offers in Tech consulting very early. But, only landed my first data job just 1 week before graduation. Throughout the journey, I received help from friends, family, and even strangers. So, I'm here to pay it forward.
