I help companies and their brands develop simple strategies to innovate the way people can experience them. I helped design an environmental fund, a streaming platform, a virtual interior decorator, a sandwich, a single billboard for the last store of a bankrupt chain, a digital hair salon, an in-store video game to make waiting fun, and taught an Oscar winner how to make Italian coffee. You can see all this stuff on lucavergano.com. All this stuff solved real business problems and generated real growth. The work won awards like The Cannes’ Grand Prix for Sustainability, the D&AD White Pencil or Design Campaign of The Year. Not humanity saving, but it’s nice to be acknowledged. Outside of work I invest in and advise companies focused on innovation and diversity, love to explore subcultures, experiment with visual languages (with very bad results), and collect vintage Jamaican 7” vinyl (those with the dub version on the b-side, for the other music geeks). But ultimately I'm a multidisciplinary strategic thinker who likes to design experiences that grow business in an innovative, progressive way. I’m also proud of my multicultural background, and lucky to have worked across four continents and different cultures. Always trying to make good stuff and have fun making it.
