With over 10 years of experience in the Indian Navy, I am a hydrographic surveyor with an IHO Cat B certification and a transitioning military officer with a background in administration, projects, security, navigation, and aviation. I have successfully planned, coordinated, and executed major hydrographic surveys, producing at least 14 charts for ports and coastal areas, and piloted ships in and out of various harbors and anchorages. I have also contributed to seamanship exercises, firing and patrol operations, and aviation management and operations. Currently, I am a research assistant at Fraunhofer CML, where I apply my knowledge and skills in hydrography and geoinformatics to research and innovation in maritime and coastal domains. I am also pursuing a master's degree in geodesy and geoinformatics with a specialization in hydrography at HafenCity Universität Hamburg (HCU), where I learn and explore the latest trends and technologies in the field. My mission is to leverage my expertise and experience to advance the science and practice of hydrography and geoinformatics for the benefit of society and the environment.
