Lifesurfers Wellness Foundation is a Mental Health section 8 non-profit based in Lucknow, India. A global mental health foundation to serve communities by using evidence-based research, interventions and other resources. The basis of all we do in Mental health comes from the approach of Mental Health being psychosocial and being influenced by structural norms. The focus is to design, implement and promote innovative solutions for; A. Making mental health care and support accessible. B. Improving mental health literacy. C. Provide mental health education to reduce stigma and discrimination. D. Improve quality of care through Psychologist Education and Training.   It is essential and a human right that people find mental healthcare within the healthcare systems. But, care often translates into people finding support from within their communities. In short, our endeavours with LWF serve the underserved, either through fostering safe spaces for  Peer Support, enabling informed conversation through literacy and awareness programs or implementing and promoting innovative programs for accessible care. In whatever we do, the communities we serve become the centre for solution and care as they define and need it.
