I am a seasoned AI and machine learning professional with over 15 years of experience in the field. I hold a PhD in Data Science from The University of Tokyo, where I also obtained my master's degree in Robotics and Internet of Things. I have multiple certifications in machine learning and probabilistic graphical models, and I have published several papers on exoplanet detection using neural networks. I am fluent in Spanish, English, and Japanese, and I have a strong passion for data-driven value creation and business improvement. As the Head of Artificial Intelligence, Retail, Telco & Media at Algorithia, the largest AI company in Mexico, I lead the creation and development of AI and IoT models for different business units within Grupo Salinas, a leading conglomerate in Mexico. My role involves driving innovation and developing cutting-edge solutions that help boost growth and optimize performance. I work closely with various teams to design and apply fault detection models for telecom and manufacturing, and generative AI models for content production. I also create analytical solutions for retail and e-commerce, using AI models tailored to enhance and optimize these areas. A key aspect of my work is the collaboration and communication with different stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure the alignment and delivery of the AI and IoT solutions.
