About me

Most businesses don’t fail because people aren’t working hard enough. They fail because no one stops to ask: are we solving the right problem in the first place? Hi, I’m Nilasreek Nath – a Business Strategy Consultant with a background across business analysis, project execution, client consulting, and growth-focused problem-solving. I work with startups and growing businesses to fix what’s slowing them down: from weak targeting and messy execution to decisions that look good on paper but fall apart in the real world. And I didn’t learn that from a textbook. I learned it by working inside businesses where the pressure was real, the timelines were tight, and the cost of the wrong decision showed up fast. From leading on-ground sales at Decathlon during a period when consumer behavior was shifting dramatically, to stepping into business analysis roles where customer patterns, pricing, and market realities mattered more than assumptions, to managing projects, coordinating teams, and solving for delivery, retention, and business outcomes – I kept running into the same truth: A lot of businesses are busy. Very few are actually aligned. They push harder on execution when the strategy is already leaking. They chase more leads when the real issue is poor-fit customers. They ask for growth when what they really need is clarity. That realization shaped how I work today. My approach sits at the intersection of business strategy, data analysis, operational structure, and execution frameworks like Agile and Waterfall. Which means I don’t just look at what’s happening in a business. I look at why it’s happening, where it’s breaking, and what needs to shift to improve revenue, efficiency, and long-term outcomes. Whether it’s identifying high-value customers, assessing competitor gaps, improving ROI, streamlining workflows, or bringing structure to a scattered growth plan, the goal is always the same: Make better decisions. Build stronger systems. Create results that actually hold. Because time is money. And in business, the wrong direction costs more than slow progress ever will. If you’re building something and know there’s a gap between effort and outcome, we should talk. Let’s turn scattered effort into smarter business decisions. PS: If your business looks busy from the outside but feels unclear from the inside, that’s usually the first sign something deeper needs fixing. PS 2: The right strategy doesn’t just help you grow. It helps you stop wasting time getting there.
