Hello, I am Kyrillos Mahrous Gerges, currently a fourth-grade medical student at the Faculty of Medicine, Sohag University, located in the picturesque city of Sohag, Egypt. Through these experiences, I've developed a deep understanding of clinical research, clinical trials, and biostatistics. I'm proficient in using essential statistical software like SPSS, Jamovi, STATA, RevMan, and CMA. Additionally, I have honed my skills in systematic reviews, meta-analyses, data analysis, data extraction, methodology of clinical research, and medical writing. As a testament to my commitment to advancing medical knowledge, I am an active member of several esteemed organizations, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the Medical Research Group of Egypt (MRGE), and I also have access to the invaluable resources of the Cochrane Library. Furthermore, I am a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, demonstrating my dedication to diverse medical disciplines. My interests extend beyond the classroom and lab. I'm particularly passionate about preparing for the USMLE, a pivotal step toward realizing my dream of becoming a physician-scientist in the United States. I believe this path will allow me to combine my love for clinical practice with rigorous research. In terms of specialties, my heart is drawn to the fields of Oncology, General Surgery, and Internal Medicine.
