I'm currently pursuing my MS from Stanford University with a specialization in AI. Prior to joining Stanford, I worked as a Software Developer and Machine Learning Engineer at Adobe for 2+ years. I'm mainly involved in research at the Stanford AI Lab working with Prof. Stefano Ermon and Prof. Jure Leskovec. My current focus lies in image/video understanding and developing computer vision algorithms to learn without a surplus of training labels. I also have a well-rounded understanding of NLP, RL through other projects. At Adobe my focus areas were Machine Learning and Computer Vision and their applications in Fashion, Digital Marketing, and Augmented Reality. Some of my works at Adobe resulted in multiple patents and publications along with product launches. I have completed my CS undergrad at IIT Kharagpur where I received the Best Bachelor’s Thesis Award and was also recipient of awards like Gandhian Young Technological Innovation Award, IBM System Demonstration Award amongst others. I am passionate about topics related to Deep/Machine Learning, and challenges in Computer Vision. I am also drawn to tackling the major challenges in machine learning, which are unsupervised learning in the regime of small data, and simulation-based learning and its transferability to the real world.
