I am currently a Financial Research Analyst at D. E. Shaw India, specializing in the Asset-Backed Securities team, where I focus on strategy development and analyzing business opportunities within the sector. I hold a PGDBA from IIM Calcutta, recognized as one of India's top Master's programs in Data Science by Imarticus Learning, and have also cleared CFA Level 1. Prior to my current role, I worked as an Associate Data Analyst in the Risk Division at Optum Global Solutions, the healthcare solutions arm of UnitedHealth Group—the world's largest healthcare company by revenue. At Optum, I gained extensive experience in requirement gathering, complex business problem analysis, and end-to-end process creation using Big Data platforms and SQL. I earned my undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi. I am a skilled communicator and confident presenter, proficient in Hive, PySpark, SQL, Oozie, and Sqoop, with a strong foundation in mathematics, analytics, finance, and statistics
