With more than 27 years of technology leadership, I have shaped and scaled engineering teams that deliver real business value beyond the cost savings. I have built delivery centres and product engineering units and managed offshore hubs and Global Capability Centres (GCCs) with full P&L responsibility. One thing I have learned is that strong teams are not built on headcount alone. Capability comes from efficient processes, the right tools and technology, relentless focus on automation and now AI. I am passionate about designing team structures that are strategically aligned with the parent company or client need, but deeply rooted in local culture. My experience includes setting up centres of excellence (COEs), steering cost efficient transformations, leading multi phase programs with clear KPIs, and balancing cost, quality and innovation. I take pride in creating environments where people feel empowered to think, own and grow. The rapid rise of AI and new delivery models excites me. I believe emotional intelligence, thoughtful decision making and strategic thinking will define the future workforce. I focus on using technology to elevate people and drive real business impact, not just to automate. During this journey, I wrote LeaderSinksShip, a candid look at leadership mistakes we often ignore. The book received good reviews and encouraging attention on Amazon from readers, a happy moment for a first time author. I call myself an accidental author until the next book arrives. I also love mentoring mid career professionals who feel stuck in their career journey, sharing my own failures and lessons so they can move forward with confidence. When I am not at work, you will find me either reading books or sketching Mandana art, a traditional Indian folk art. I enjoy long walks and “chai pe charcha” with friends.
