Something about myself and why I think I can help you with this. Apologies in advance for the cringe.

In my previous role at a startup, I was responsible for setting up the entire hiring process for my team. The reason I was given this responsibility was because my manager knew that I have deep experience in interviewing and have given many (100+) interviews.

Early in my career, I used to interview since I wasn't from a tier-1 college so I always thought that I need to practice interviewing to crack top companies. This helped me to understand the hiring process and have an insight on what is the industry standard. (Also get better offers :P)

This started as a joke with my colleagues, but due to interviewing at so many places at different points in my careers, I have offers from 3 of the 4 FANG companies (unfortunately, Netflix doesn't do lateral hires from India) along with Uber, Atlassian, Swiggy and many other big (and small) companies in India. This is like my trophy (offer) collection in my email 😁

This has given me an edge in my career and helped me build the entire hiring process myself and make the process more relevant to the roles we were hiring for. This resulted in hiring exceptional candidates who were early in their careers and super specialist in their roles. A trait which is very valuable to early stage startups.
