I am a development practitioner, social entrepreneur, and advocate for migration rights, labour welfare, and sustainable development. With expertise in community development, social impact, and policy advocacy, I am committed to driving transformative change for marginalised communities. I hold an MSc in Migration, Mobility, and Development from SOAS, University of London; an MA in Development from Azim Premji University, Bengaluru; and a BSc in Agriculture, Rural, and Tribal Development from Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute, Ranchi (Jharkhand). My work focuses on addressing social inequities, enhancing livelihoods, and expanding access to education in underserved communities. Professional Engagements 🔹 Carer Support & Information Worker | City & Hackney Carers Centre, London I assist unpaid carers across Hackney and the City of London, providing welfare advice, income maximisation support, and access to essential services. I also manage organisational databases and administration, ensuring smooth operations. Additionally, I lead digital strategy, community engagement, and stakeholder collaboration, strengthening carer support programmes. 🔹 Founder | Gramin Bharti Sewa Sanstha (GBSS), Jharkhand GBSS is a non-profit organisation working in remote tribal areas to drive educational transformation, livelihood enhancement, and holistic community development. Our goal is to empower individuals and foster sustainable grassroots change. 🔹 Founder | Development Wala & NGOHiring.org Recognising the need for accessible career and resource platforms in the development sector, I created: ✅ Development Wala – an all-in-one platform for social workers and development professionals, providing job listings, resources, CV reviews, and NGO recruitment support. ✅ NGOHiring.org – a dedicated job portal connecting passionate professionals with non-profit organisations in India. Beyond Work: I use design, technology, and storytelling to amplify the voices of marginalised communities. Through graphic and web design, administration, and content creation, I develop impact reports, promotional materials, and outreach strategies to support non-profit initiatives.
