I’m Komal Shinde, a Pharmaceutics professional who started my journey at NIPER Mohali and got placed at Cipla, one of India’s leading pharma companies. From there, I took a bold step, moving alone to Dubai with no roadmap and entering the UAE healthcare system through Life Pharmacy, Mediglo, and now B’spoke, working across formulation, sales, and healthcare operations. What looked like a “success move” from outside came with real struggles adjusting to a new country, managing salary vs expenses, understanding UAE job market reality, accommodation pressure, and rebuilding my career direction from scratch. I understand how confusing the pharma career path can feel, especially in the UAE where information is unclear and expectations are very different from India.
