I studied Financial Markets at HR College in Mumbai, where I consistently ranked in the top 10 and graduated as an all-rounder in the top 1% of my batch. I’ve worked across Deutsche Bank, EY, and Tata Capital, gaining experience in financial planning & analysis, financial control, tax, and strategy. This gave me a well-rounded understanding of how different parts of finance actually work in practice, not just in theory. While applying for my Master’s, I went deep into understanding different career paths in finance like IB, PE/VC, FDD, Consulting and more, along with what these roles involve, how they differ, and what they realistically require. This wasn’t just surface-level research, but a detailed exploration of how careers actually progress. I continued building on this during my Master’s at Warwick Business School (with a merit scholarship) and through my time at HEC Paris, exploring areas like sustainable finance and newer developments in the field. Over time, I’ve developed a clear and structured way of thinking about finance careers. I’ve also worked with 20+ students on study abroad and early career decisions, helping them understand their options and make more informed choices.
