Moving to a new country sounds exciting until you're sitting in a German Bürgeramt with forms you don't understand, a landlord asking for documents you've never heard of, and a bank that needs a Schufa you don't have yet.

I've been through all of it. In this session we talk about whatever is stressing you out — cost of living, housing, health insurance, German bureaucracy, social life, loneliness, the winters, the food, all of it.

Real numbers, real experiences, no blog-post version.

Come with specific questions — the more concrete the better. "How much does rent cost in Heidelberg?" will get you a much more useful answer than "tell me about life in Germany."

I'll share real numbers, real experiences, and real opinions. Some of it will be based on my specific situation — single person, Heidelberg/Walldorf area, tech industry — so your experience may vary depending on your city, lifestyle, or background.

I'll always be clear about what I know from experience versus what I've heard from others. For anything official — visa rules, insurance requirements, tax — please double-check with the relevant authority. Things change, and I'm not always up to date.
