With over ten years of experience in the banking and finance sector, I have developed strong competencies in branch management, business development, credit analysis, NPA reduction, retail banking, and MSME banking. I am currently the Branch Manager at State Bank of India, the largest public sector bank in India. As the Branch Head of a Scale 2 branch with a business of around 150 Cr, I have achieved multiple milestones in improving the branch performance, customer satisfaction, and profitability. I have reduced the gross NPA from 3% to 0.5% within three years, increased the business at a CAGR of around 21% from the previous 8 year CAGR of 8%, started the state government treasury operation, and more than tripled the net profit of the branch. I have also received the GEM award from the Assistant General Manager for my outstanding performance as a Branch Manager. Selected as 3rd best officer story of Kerala Circle (out of 13000 employees) in "SUCCESS STORIES CAMPAIGN" run by corporate centre for FY 2022-23. My learning and curiosity have driven me to explore various domains and roles in my career, ranging from hospitality and hotel management, restaurant management, NGO fundraising, to banking and finance. I have acquired various certifications and skills along the way, such as JAIIB, CAIIB, Certificate in Commercial Credit, New Business Development, Process Improvement, and more. I ama also a certified treasury professional by IIBF. I strive to learn new things at a breakneck speed and apply them to create value for my organization and customers.
