✅ 25 Positive Words to Say Instead of - Be Careful with Kiara's Learning Resources

🚫 Why we don’t say “Be careful!” anymore… and what we say instead! 😱💬

I used to say it all the time.

At the park, on stairs, while climbing — “Be careful!” became my default.

But guess what?

It actually made my toddler more anxious and less confident.

🌱 Montessori parenting taught me something powerful:

Instead of vague warnings, try giving your child specific guidance like:

✨ “Use your hands to balance.”

✨ “That log might be wobbly, try testing it first.”

✨ “Do you feel safe climbing higher?”

💡 It helps them think, assess risk, and trust their body — all while staying safe.
