I've worked extensively with Kafka - building reliable Change Data Capture(CDC) and Kafka Mirroring Pipelines at Trillion-Message Scale. In the past I've spearheaded the Experience Team at Unacademy. In this role, my primary focus was on elevating the user experience for our end users. We were committed to enhancing user retention by ensuring a seamless learning experience, whether it's engaging with live classes or accessing past ones. Our efforts extended to simplifying content discovery, creating a one-stop portal to facilitate users in completing their educational journey. Before joining Unacademy, I contributed as a Software Developer at Samsung Research Institute, Bangalore. My responsibilities included managing the backend of a Programmatic Ad Platform utilizing the JAVA framework VertX. Additionally, I delved into building Recommender Systems using ensemble approaches, incorporating Content & Collaborative Methods. I have hands-on experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop & PySpark, and I am proficient in deploying large-scale web solutions on the AWS platform. My tasks also involved Text classification, Natural Language Processing, and implementing state-of-the-art Deep Learning Models.
