It was very informative and I learned a lot. Thank you! What I liked most was the part about "What nobody tells you" and how it is important to read between the lines when talking to lab members or professors.

I liked the way he explained the fundamentals of mailing professors in a clear and concise manner. It was much better than the generic advices I have received previously. The session helped me clear uncertainties I had about mailing the professors.

Until today, I had only known you from your newsletters, so it was very pleasant joining the webinar and getting your insights into the cold-emailing professors for PhD positions. I am still in my master's, but I learned a lot of new information and I already have a few things in mind that I want to start doing right away. :) Thank you, and keep up the awesome work! Take care.

It was really insightful. I learned about the ways to find PhD positions, and learnt about things no one usually talks about

It was an impactful session. You were on point, guided the session through personal experience, and were direct. It felt more like having a direct conversation with a mentor than a webinar, which is ideal. Thank you for organizing this session. - Nitharshan A

The conversation was outstanding. Kenan pointed out flaws in my thinking and attitudes and helped me to better consider my views, ideas, and to better define my ultimate goal as well as the path I want to take.

You’ll absolutely love Kenan! He completely understood what I was trying to say—both about the parts of science I’m less fond of and the ones I’m truly passionate about. He gave me such thoughtful advice on what I can do now, as a student about to apply for a Master’s program, to turn my dream into reality and pursue what I love most.

Kenan, without a doubt, knows what he's talking about. It's clear that he has both experienced the process of signing up for a masters/PhD first hand, and that he has thought about this for a long time. If you're unsure of how to get from point A to point B, he will make you a clear, achievable, schedule. If you don't even know where you want to go, he will discuss your options with you and give you a strategy to figure it out. If you don't know how you measure up as a candidate, he will tell you your strengths and weaknesses. This is not a meeting where he will sell you his one size fits all solution. You will gain insight into how how the selection process works and develop a plan that works for your specific situation, based on that insight.
