Hello everyone, My name is Keaghan Curley, and I currently obtain my master's degree in Community Engagement from Merrimack College. My hopes are to continue working within the education sector. My goal is to delve into Applied Behavior Analysis, which I believe can allow me to use my past experiences - thus, work directly with children and adolescents with autism and other behavioral diagnoses and help develop a strategic plan in a way to reach their full potential. I am very passionate about equipping students with the tools they need to succeed in the world and develop their personal and social skills. I have started a new position as a behavior technician at Behavior Frontiers in Boston. My responsibilities consist primarily of providing services to clients with autism and utilizing data collection to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and lead future treatment plans. I have experience working with children and adolescents. During my undergraduate studies, I worked as a teaching instructor and team leader at Jumpstart. My responsibilities were to foster a safe and healthy environment for these children. Through Jumpstart, I have acquired a willingness to connect with these children while giving out lessons. I worked as a program coordinator graduate fellow for a nonprofit called the Food Recovery Network, partnered with Merrimack College’s Hands to Help program, as we aimed to rescue perishable food that would otherwise go to waste from our campus dining halls and local supermarkets. As someone with a passion for food justice, safety, and recovery, I want to make the world a better place by helping feed our communities in need that struggle with food insecurity. I worked full-time as a college and career advisor at an alternative school called Boston Day and Evening Academy through the Post-Graduate Planning Department. My major responsibilities consisted of providing an equitable space for the students, advising them on a weekly basis, and accommodating them as needed as members of the BDEA community.
