As a Research and Development Officer at Gennova Biopharmaceuticals, I am deeply engaged in a cutting-edge project centered on cell and gene therapy within the Molecular Biology Lab. I design genes and plasmids using MacVector, and conduct protein expression and purification studies in mammalian and bacterial cell cultures. I also contribute to developing chromatographic methods for plasmid DNA and RNA purification. I have a dual master's degree in biotechnology and bioinformatics from the Institute of Bioinformatics and Biotechnology, Savitribai Phule Pune University, where I graduated in 2022. I co-authored 5 publications and received the prestigious Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) fellowship (2016-2021) and the GATE Life Sciences (XL) 2022 qualification. I am passionate about applying my molecular biology and bioinformatics skills to design proteins significant in gene therapy. In addition to my role in biopharmaceuticals, I am also an entrepreneur, having founded and co-founded two online website platforms. I am the founder of Aestheseals, a website that sells aesthetic, premium yet affordable home and living accessories. Aestheseals offers a curated collection of products aiming to elevate spaces with aesthetic excellence while maintaining affordability. I personally designed this website using WordPress. Furthermore, I co-founded "The Science Bistro," another website designed by me using WordPress. Our aim at 'The Science Bistro' is to make science accessible to everyone. Through articles, snippets, scientific illustrations, videos, and more, we brew easy-to-understand scientific content for curious minds. I manage the social accounts for both Aestheseals and The Science Bistro, and have contributed scientific articles as blog posts for the latter.
