In today's evolving IT world, technologies come and go in short span of 3 to 4 years. For example, when I was in college, I was learning Java since it was widely used in frontend development (as Javascript), Backend Development, Android, API development, etc. 6 years into the industry, Kotlin replaced java In android, React replaced it in web development, and so on and so forth. (Not that java is obsolete, just that a developer should have the confidence to be technology-independent and be a quick learner and unlearned of a tech. So I will be explaining what a dev should work upon to gain an edge in the industry in this conversation.
