As a co-founder and CTO of Sympl, I leverage my 15+ years of experience in developing and designing scalable, secure and data driven applications, using various open source technologies, to create innovative and scalable fintech solutions. I am passionate about big data, software architecture, microservices, devops, problem solving, agile, and TDD.
Previously, I led the data engineering team at Agolo, where I was responsible for end to end data pipeline (data schema, streaming, insights and analytics, as well as designing and maintaining a sophisticated data pipeline built with a diverse big data stack). I also worked as a senior software engineer at SiliconExpert, CyberSource, and Visa, where I gained valuable experience in BOM, web scraping, payment processing, and distributed systems. I have multiple certifications in big data and agile methodologies, and I am fluent in Arabic and English.
