Hi, I’m Karan Dhir and like most people who end up in consulting, my journey wasn’t exactly linear. I started off in the structured, complex world of core industry at Indian Oil Corporation Limited, where decisions moved slowly but carried massive real-world impact. That’s where I first learned how businesses actually work beyond textbooks. From there, curiosity pulled me into faster, more ambiguous environments - stints in edtech and startups like Unacademy, and eventually into consulting with firms like Accenture and Bain & Company. Different industries, different problems but one common thread: solving messy, real-world business challenges. Somewhere along the way, I realized something important. Most people aren’t stuck because they lack capability - they’re stuck because no one has shown them how to think. How to structure ambiguity. How to break down a problem. How to connect dots when there’s no clear answer. That’s why I started mentoring. Over the past few years, I’ve worked with candidates across consulting, BizOps, growth, and strategy roles - helping them not just crack interviews, but build a way of thinking that stays with them long after.
