As a Business Intelligence Consultant at Singapore Airlines, Scoot BIA division, I create value that supports top management in crucial decision-making. My role here mainly focuses on consulting the BI team on data governance, dashboard development, data source development, dashboard migration, data manipulation, validation and machine learning. I also conduct background research on new implementations and work on the adaptation of new solutions to the existing BI ecosystem. I have a strong background in data analytics and data visualization, with skills in Tableau, Power BI, SQL, and Python. I have worked on projects in various domains, such as telco, retail, IT and aviation, where I was able to generate business insights using data analytics. I have a BSc (Hons) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Peradeniya and a Master of Business Analytics from the University of Colombo. I am passionate about learning new technologies, solving problems, and delivering value with data.
