As a visionary leader and a Project Management specialist, he brings with him over 34 years of comprehensive experience in managing challenging mega projects in the nuclear power and infrastructure sector. A Doctorate in Concrete Technology with MBA and PMP certified professional, he possesses a sound ability to lead and ramp-up projects and ensure their timely completion within defined budget and quality standards while institutionalizing budgetary controls. He holds the distinction of turning around projects from crisis and ensuring their successful completion and acceptance. Adept at managing all facets of project management such as Project feasibility, statutory approvals, site survey & execution, design engineering, tendering & contract administration, and people management. As part of the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) since 1989, he has worked in establishing PHWR units in Rajasthan and VVER units at Kudankulam, Tamil Nadu. Preparation of Project proposals, getting necessary statutory clearances including MoEF clearances, obtaining project sanctions, tendering and implementation of the projects are his major responsibilities as part of the megaproject implementation. As Additional Chief Engineer, NPCIL, the Pre-project proposal activities of Kudankulam units 3-6, costing more than INR 1,00,000 Crores, were handled by him from 2007 to 2015. Being a part of L&T since 2015, he has been handling a megaproject proposal for setting up a multi-billion-dollar nuclear power park in India in collaboration with Westinghouse of the US and working closely with ROSATOM of the Russian Federation for nuclear power project proposals in Indonesia and Uzbekistan. Worked on various nuclear contract proposals in the domestic market also. Presently, he is the Deputy Dean of the L&T Institute of Project Management and he is into training L&T executives in various aspects of Project Management and developing Project leaders competent in Project management skills like project proposals, risk management, cost management, feasibility analysis, etc., are my forte. He is a visiting faculty for NITTTR, Chennai, and SP Jain Institute of Management wherein he handles Project risk and Stakeholder management. Trained executives of HPCL, NDB, etc. on Project management.
