Kaiwalya Koparkar is a Developer Relations professional, CNCF Ambassador, and certified in KCNA, CKA, and CKAD. He’s the founder of Geek Around Community and has worked across multiple ecosystems as a Program Manager and Community Manager, helping scale developer communities from the ground up. Previously a GitHub Campus Expert and now an MLH Coach, he actively advocates for open source and tech accessibility. With a background shaped by over 10 hackathon wins and involvement in 35+ global hackathons as a participant, mentor, and judge, Kaiwalya blends hands-on experience with a passion for community-led growth. He has spoken at events like KubeCon North America and DevRelCon Yokohama, sharing stories on cloud-native tech, DevOps, and the developer journey. When he’s not working on cloud-native projects or community initiatives, he’s probably geeking out over GitOps workflows or helping new devs get their start in open source.
